In unrelated news: I have set the blog to close a post to comments after 14 days.  I am doing this to cut down on the amount of time I have to spend dealing with spam-bots trying to blast the site with their nonsense.  Even with the spam filter, I still get emailed whenever somebody posts or attempts to post a comment.  Yesterday that meant I was getting at least one spam notice every 15 minutes, usually more than one.  Really annoying.  Most of these were on posts that were old.  So keep current!
